Conan Rowing Again
Note the big forearms. I never train forearms but I also only ever use wrist wraps to help hold on my heaviest set of deadlift.
By working on my grip strength in this way they slowly get stronger with my weight increases, over time this left me with big, strong forearms.
Then I see new guys in the gym using wrist straps for every exercise and then running over and doing sillt wrist curls for 30 minutes at the end of an arm workout. Waste of time and wrist curls dont build strength like actually holding a bar.
