A short video that gives an idea of what Techno Parade is like, just multiply by about 40 trucks and 1/4 million people.

Good music, good atmosphere and 250,000 happy people, man this is a party.
The only problem was that after 8 hours of dancing and drinking warm beer from illegal street vendors it was time to go home and rest. Next time I plan on saving myself for the night and checking out the nightclubs. It was very easy to meet people - after all I was the only dancing giant.
Just be aware, Paris has a severe shortage of public toilets.
