The days of Dead Kennedys "Holiday in Cambodia" are over. Pol Pot and his team have pretty much officially gone, though there still are some Khymer rebels operating in the jungles primarily along the Thai border.
The Americans have a lot to answer for in this country - you can see so many people with birth defects from Agent Orange and about one person in four is missing at least one limb from landmines. Then the UN and the international community failed to say anything when Pol Pot murdered almost 2 million of his own country men.
