Aug 2005 Relaxed
Just before I started training seriously again. At this point I was doing weights 3 times a week, running on the beach in soft sand for 2 to 3 km twice a week and swimming across Bondi Bay once a week, a 1km ocean swim.
If I started training my left side would grow and my right sdie was stil lsuffering the lack of nerves and therefore lack of growth.
I could not go without training and I came to really enjoy running in the sand and swimming across Bondi.
I got to know all the other guys doing it too, and most of them were like me, fit but enjoyed a good night out.
This lead to a funny site on Saturday and Sunday mornings as all these guys still half 1/2 drunk would be jogging up the beach trying to sweat it out.
Some smart alecs would say why bother training if you go out. Well look at me, I am pretty fit lokoing, nice amount of muscle for an average guy.
Imagine if I went out drinking and did not train.
With good food and training routine you can afford to have a couple of vices on the side.
