The Chandni Chowk to China movie trailer has been released already. Seeing as we only finished filming Chandni Chowk To China a couple of months ago this is a quick trailer release and with the movie slated for release at Diwali (festival of lights oct 28, 2008) in India...
Conan (as Joey) in Chandni Chowk To China
Chandni Chowk To China is the story of Hindi superstar Akshay Kumar's character being mistakenly (and believed by the character) identified as a reincarnation of Liu Sheng, a Chinese hero.
An oppressed Chinese village looks to Akshay Kumar's character to save them from the evil Gordon Liu (HK movie star), my boss in the movie.
There is obviiously more to it than this, a lot more so it will be interesting for me to see Chandni Chowk To China in full myself.
Chandni Chowk To China? Why that name? Well it turns out that Chandni Chowk is a well known industrial section of India where Akshay Kumar's character is originally based, in the trailer you see him yell "Chandni Chowk To China" as China is where the fate of his 'reincarnation' lies and is to where he travels and encounters us, the bad guys.
You can see me very briefly at the 12 second mark picking up Akshay Kumar and Rodger Yuan over my head.
