Sydney Dance Company again? Yes, the 2007 return of Berlin.
Today I signed a contract to perform with the Sydney Dance Company, Conan The Ballet Dancer returns for a 3 week season in Sydney followed by a month break (watch my site for a new announcement about this 'break' shortly) then a 1 week season in Brisbane.
After 2 years absence I will be returning to Australia...
The most interesting part for me will be the return to Australia, it is nearly 2 years to the day, in fact it is 2 years and 2 days exactly since I left when I arrive again.
I am not sure how I will feel about Australia when I arrive, or how I feel about it after I have been there for 5 weeks. Though I am very happy to be returning at the beginning of the warm weather and I will fortunately be staying with friends around my old haunts - Coogee Beach and Bondi Beach. Summer, swimming, surf and BBQ's - ahhh yeah, I do like Australia :D
The best thing about returning will of course be seeing my friends again, to try to convince them that I do not want to party until I am dead as everyone will want to catch up for "a few beers". If I catch up with everyone for a beer each I'll be permanently drunk for the entire trip.
The Sydney Dance Company Berlin 2007 seasons are as follows:
Sydney - Theatre Royal - Saturday 6th October to Saturday 27th October
Brisbane - QPAC Playhouse - Thursday 29th November to Saturday December 8th
